Barra da Lagoa: Do You Like Paradisiacal Beaches?
Do not tell that you love fishing and you have not heard about Barra da Lagoa. If so, that is a pity since this is the major fishing area of an island called Florianopolis. Barra da Lagoa is a district of Florianopolis, in Santa Catarina, Brazil. In general, it comprises an area of 4,75 Km². Besides being a fishing destination, tourists also love it since it is one of the most preferred beaches in Florianopolis due to its extremely nice sand, sea, climate, atmosphere and one significant activity: surfing. In spite of the fact that the sea almost never gets to be extremely impetuous, wind sometimes create the perfect conditions in order to enjoy this great sport. This is much easier on the right side of the beach.
Furthermore, this paradisiacal place called Barra de Lagoa has a great canal that acts as a connection between Lagoa and the sea. Over this amazing canal, there is a small, fantastic and particular bridge which is made of wood. Through this bridge, you are able to get to the Prainha. In case you are planning to go there and rent a place to stay at night, you are provided with a really broad and varied list of houses and lodging. Nonetheless, if you prefer to go camping, you are also allowed to do it. Remember that July is a good time of the year to take a trip to Barra da Lagoa due to the fact that, by this time, they celebrate what is called “Festa da Tainha”. This is a party that is organized by the entire community that is successful in the sense that gathers tourists from all over the world.
