Combarbala




South America is the fourth largest continent of the Western Hemisphere. Combarbala is a city in Chile, located in the region of Coquimbo. The city has an area of 2257.5 square kilometers and borders the areas of Montepatria, Punitaqui, Canela and Illapel. Combarbala is elevated at about 904 meters above the sea level. Combarbala is located in the 4th zone of Chile and is a part of the province of Limari. Combarbala's climate corresponds to semi-arid, with an atmospheric dryness that borders 50 percent high summer temperatures, great thermal oscillation and with a great transparency of skies.
 
Combarbala's people develop activities in agriculture, especially grape for export. The operation of the goat cattle, mining and crafts of the Combarbalita stone are important productive activities.
