Macul
South America is a continent situated in the western hemisphere and, mostly, the southern hemisphere, bordered on the west by the Pacific Ocean and on the north and east by the Atlantic Ocean, North America and the Caribbean Sea lie to the northwest. Chile, officially the Republic of Chile, is a country in South America occupying a long coastal strip between the Andes Mountains and the Pacific Ocean. Macul or Quechua, which means, to stretch right hand, is a municipality or comuna of Chile located on the province of Santiago in the Santiago Metropolitan Region, a landlocked administrative region in central Chile. It has a population of 112,535, as of 2002, living within an area of 12.9 square kilometers, and possessing an average household income of 22,459 US dollars in PPP, Purchasing power Parity, as of 2000.
The dense Amazon rainforest, the jagged spires of the Andes Mountains, the Tropical beaches and the Towering waterfalls, with this kind of nature all around, it's no wonder why South America have become nearly synonymous with Adventure travel and ecotourism.
